  • Created by architect Charles Warren on 5 lush Upper Brookville acres, the house is approached through a majestic alee of linden trees.

  • The French Renaissance inspired mansion features slate, brick and limestone exterior finishes. Flaired roof lines, angled chimneys and a large oeil de boeuf window above the main entry combine to animate the design.

  • Inlaid stone floors, palmetto pilasters and a custom Venetian styled iron railing define the entry foyer.

  • The expansive living room centers around a custom carpet by Stark that repeats the colors and shapes of the inlayed foyer floor. An ink watercolor of a Tang horse disguises a flat screen TV over the mantel. Deco chair fabric by Corragio.

  • A painting by Yayoi Kusamc hangs opposite the fireplace. Custom cocktail table by Dan Kiser, Inc. Chandelier by Nancy Corzine.

  • Silver leaf lines the walls of the bar area. Floor lamp from an original by Giacometti.

  • Silver leafed demi lune cabinets frame the entrance to the dining room. The space features a barrel vaulted ceiling and finely detailed Palladian inspired custom cabinetry.

  • Custom macassar ebony dining tables were designed by Dan Kiser. Chandeliers by Holly Hunt. Carpet by Stark.

  • Large classical Murano glass footed bowls are placed as centerpieces on the pair of dining tables.

  • Antiqued painted finishes, stained and distressed maple center island and table combine with a hand chipped travertine floor and an iron chandelier to create an updated country kitchen.

  • DKI specified plush slate green mohair to cover a large sectional. The dual sided fireplace opens to the screened porch beyond. Pillow fabrics by Clarence House. Woven reed furniture By Palacek.

  • A graceful hand blown crystal fixture hangs in the stairway. Antique framed mirror panels are from the original ballroom decor of the Waldorf Astoria, NYC.

  • Dan Kiser created a master suite that is utterly tranquil with it’s blue and cream color scheme.

  • The master bedroom chaise occupies a sunny windowed bay. A graceful Palladian window overlooks the pool and grounds.

  • The wife’s bathroom is sheathed in pink marble with a rare onyx slab inlaid in the floor. The vanity is faced with textured glass mirrored from behind.

  • Glamor abounds in the fashion forward bedroom of the client’s daughter. Ebony stained floors anchor the mirror, crystal ,and silk fabrics that provide sparkle.

  • Accented with African art and Indonesian accessories, the son’s bedroom is masculine yet unexpected.

  • The wife’s office features finely fluted oak panelling and a carved wood Venetian chandelier. Setee is by Saladino. Paisley fabric by Kravet.

  • A romantic folly is visible through the living room bay windows.

  • The pool house by architect Ron Zakary echoes the main facade of the house with it’s flaired roof lines. The grounds abut parkland beyond.
